October 13th ... who will come?

The theme for this meet will be a leisurely cruise through areas of potentially spectacular fall foilage!

9-11 AM - Meet & Greet @ Chuck-A-Burger (breakfast is now served)
11:00 AM - Depart for cruise to nowhere
1:00 PM ish - Arrive Pere Marquette Park Picnic Area. Photo Opportunity, Lunch, Hang Out
3:00 PM (or whenever) - Depart and continue cruise
3:30 PM ish - Arrive Go Kart Track
5:30 PM ish (or whenever) - Cruise back to Chuck-A-Burger
7:30 PM ish - Cruise up to Sonic for those that are still around

Total Time: Approx 6 hrs
Driving Time: 2 to 2 1/2 hrs

Here are the pros and cons and I would appreciate comments:

1. There are numerous car shows in the area on Oct 13th and Chuck-A-Burger, a well known cruising landmark, could be very, very busy in the morning or perhaps it won't be busy at all in the morning. Most of the Chuck-A-Burger activities will be relocated to the corner of I-70 and Cave Springs for the EPC Classic Carfest (Car Show) which is sponsored by EPC and Chuck-A-Burger.
2. Alternatively, we could meet in Fox Hill Park (as we did for March Meet) again, particularly, if we have a very low attendance. Fox Hill Park has restroom facilities, picnic tables, and would certainly be less busy and quieter.

Per the Chuck-A-Burger Site:
"It's time to hit one of the best outdoor charity Car & Motorcycle events of the year!  It's the EPC Classic Carfest in St. Charles, at the corners of I-70 and Cave Springs!  Chuck A Burger will be there serving up the grub and hopes that you'll attend to raise awareness and funds for The Center For Autism Education!  Check out the EPC Classic Carfest Website for more details - it's a show that we truly love attending and you should not miss it."

Option 2 incorporates the Car Show ...
1. We seem to always be doing racing at our meets ... this is a chance to do something different but related - AND VERY LOW BUDGET.
2. EPC Classic Carfest display starts at noon with judging at 4pm

I may be able to use my birthday as way to make it but it dosen't help that I don't get paid til the 15th   50/50 chance I can make it.

Yeah I'll put myself down as 50/50 too. Fun money is tight at the moment and I'm still sleep deprived thanks to mini Laz 

you know surprisingly i havent been a complete forum whore lately.  but throw me down for 50/50.  im not sure how its gonna work.  sucks that burge is gone now.  it would be awesome to have someone drive my car, so i can get some good rolling shots.  i'm not completely sure if i can go.  i know i have drill that following weekend.  and im with eli and jeff, on the money situation.  but if i plan real hard ill be there, i do need 2 new tires

i would need to find a sitter for the weekend, eli you've met my gf.  she would be along with me for this trip.  i just dont know if i can afford for a hotel and gas, and everything else.

I should be there.  And guess what I may actually bring a del sol this time.
