Let's get this started so we don't fail like last year. Ideally I'd like to see a KC meet & a St Louis meet. Let's throw out some dates that you can not make it so we can get more people to attend.

a KC meet would be tough for me in the Sol, but I could always bring the Subie and pull camera car duty...

a STL meet I could actually bring the Sol to and not need a visit to the hospital the following day...

Bit rough to ride around in is it?

I dont know when but I will have to goto Cali for a month, probably June or July. KC would be better for me, STL would be ok for a 4day weekend if we can plan it ahead so I can make sure of appropriate funds...

Last time I went out for a STL meet I left Friday night after work, then we had the meet on the Saturday. I know you have an extra 2 hours each way though.

Given how I'm sure everyone is watching their budgets pretty closely, I'm sure we can share hotel rooms or crash at member's houses where available.

At this time my timeframe is open, my job went to china. St. Louis would be easy, KC is possible with time to plan and save.

Lol, that brings to mind the publicity photo I once saw. A wrestler was sitting on a Harley hard tail. That is normal, I agree, but the seat was a piece of diamond tread steel shaped to the frame. Can you say 3 minute ride followed by tailbone surgury? lol.

So far, late May or June would be the best from what it looks like. Being that the group is for MO and KS, KC seems the most central location, but there are several members in the STL area and that might pose a hangup on an event. The big question will be where to have the meet(s), as there isn't a truely central area where we could meet at. If it is within an hour or two of KC, count me in, but STL is up in the air for me.

Memorial Day weekend is a non starter

and ... Oct 11-23 ...

Anything else may be possible. STL area would be more possible. K.C. may be a "bridge too far" and my wife, likely, will not attend a K.C. event again.

My del Sol is still going strong and is back to 32+ MPG on the highway. Hurrrah!

I had the top off from Friday through Sunday but then a cold wind moved in and it appears I will need the top for quite a while again.

I'll give an update when it is available, but I know there is going to be one weekend where I'm going to be helping my mom load the contents of a storage room into a truck and then help her drive it to Maine. I'm flying back, but that will still kill my weekend. I'm still waiting to hear back from my mom about what week we're doing it. As soon as I know, I'll post it here.

well as you know i'm in the military so my dates kinda change, but here is what I know.

Not good:

Apr 4-6
June: first 2 weeks
July: 5-6
July: 24-27 IMPORT ALLIANCE!

after that it's just normal drill stuff. I would be better going to a meet in KC.

I'm no good for May 29-June 7th and anything after about the third week of July.

Also Memorial Day weekend. I'll be out getting the Jeep dirty.

Looks like July 11-12 or 18-19 weekends will work for everyone then? You guys want to try for a KC area meet on one of those weekends?
