Where will you be traveling from? Accommodating you on a budget shouldn't be a problem if someone has a spare bed or floor. We'll work out those details as we get closer.

I heard from Dave Melly a couple days ago. He said he was having a problem registering for the board.

Anyway, he said he was planning to attend with possibly another del Sol. He asked me to post up for him.

One question though, WHAT is the plan for the meet? What are we doing? Where are we going? What should we bring? Are we BBQing in a park? Should we bring supplies? Are we doing a Sol cruze? By the way, I am currently parting out a Sol and can throw a few parts in the trunk for anyone that needs them, there isn't alot there but if you can use it, I can pull it load it up and bring it with us, (the part is yours, for a pepsi and a handshake). I need to start calling about a reservation in the area for a place to stay, and I will GPS my way there, so if I can grab an address for where we will be meeting I will call around for a motel and be all set (I just got back from my Grandma's funeral in North Caralina, so I learned how great a GPS can be for not getting lost!)

I have couches if any one needs to sleep and doesn't want to get a hotel.

In Lee's Summit, I would check the hotels around the Colbern / Douglas exits on I-470. You could also check the hotels in the Blue Springs area that line I-70, there are a ton to choose from. In Independence, there are hotels in various places, including one right off of Noland Road and I-70, which would be a great place to stay if you come in on Friday night - then you could laugh at all the high school ricer kids that think they are cool and drive up and down Noland until 2-3 AM (Note: This is sarcasm).

If the weather is nice and you don't mind going to the street races we can go to the actual races with the fast cars

Well, the funny thing about the street racers on Noland is that they are racing right down the road from the police station and there are usually 4-6 cops on Noland at night BECAUSE of them...

Back in my highschool days, I regret to admit, I was one of those idiot ricers that would go down there. Thankfully, I at least had the sense to actually do performance mods on my car too, so it wasn't "all show, no go". Still, ever see what happens to a modified Saturn SC2? P:W ratio makes them hella quick with mods, but the engine isn't built to take it and will quickly give you the finger and turn a piston into a nice ball of scrap metal.

Luckily, my rice phase was short and I quickly realized how stupid it was, but I still loved modding for performance - thus my transformation from ricer to tuner.
