Anyone have any idea's or time they would be free, KC seems to be the place most of the time. So whats your idea's on 2010 spring?

Late spring could be good - right when it gets warm, but isn't hot as hell yet. I'm currently open for anything, but you never know when the job is going to tell me otherwise. My contract with Sprint ends in March, but I have a pending application in with them to become an expert witness that would travel the country to provide testimony on records. Those guys are usually (99% of the time) home on the weekends, so it shouldn't be a problem, but there is the slim possibility.

The first thing to establish will be the date and then get activities planned. If it goes down in KC again, you can count on me most likely being there - I had a fun time at the last meet, even half dehydrated with a splitting headache.

In addition to the KC meet, is anyone planning on going to Vegas Invasion this year? Megan and I talked about going to Vegas at some point next year and we might go in conjunction with Vegas Invasion, so I was wondering if anyone else might be going this year.

I will be gone all through the summer so I wont be at any meets this year Car is suffering up in New York until I get back.

There is a slight chance I'll make it back out to Vegas next year, so as long as we don't plan anything late April/early May it shoudl be ok.

Heck, sounds like we could have a good turnout for Vegas Invasion if we go for it. The only thing that is a hang-up for me is that I don't want to take my sol to Vegas until I have it all fixed up how I want it (including the new paint job), so I have to start cracking on it and hope that it stops putting salt in the wounds (My left-rear caliper piston is sticking open again, so I have to replace the whole thing AND the pads and rotor on that side at the very least, not to mention the fact that I still need to buy the gasket kit for the head gasket job... I love my Sol, but it is eating my paychecks).

Yeah I originally wanted my Sol all done up for this one, being that it's the big number 10. Oh well, if I make it out at all it'll just have to go as-is being that I got laid off on Monday I did get a lot of positive comments on my interior at Vegas VI though, and had a good time at V.

Sorry to hear that Laz. After losing more than one job to china, I know how you must be feeling. But all in all I am stoked about the next meet.

Yeah it does. Not really fun either as I was the sole provider for four hungry mouths. I'm sure something will turn up, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

Anyway, enough of this Debbie Downer stuff...Vegas is a good time to go to at least once. If my car isn't up for the trip, I'll happily co-pilot with someone.

Well, if it would help, I can check with my friend Deb and see what contract agencies we are getting people from. It doesn't pay a ton, but it is better than nothing and there are no strings attached.

for once in my lifetime i might be able to make out to VI, i've been wanting to go since '03. I think this year i'm skipping out on Import Alliance, considering they are trying to turn it into a show, instead of a HUGE car meet. VI sounds like a much better choice!

Depends on when VI is - I would LOVE to go, just don't know if I will have any money. If I do, I think it would be fun as hell to caravan down there.
